The Tiny Ferris Wheel
I read a ‘blog post somewhere online recently that talked about building dozens of tiny metal Ferris wheels to combat depression (or something like that…if I could remember where it was, I’d link to it, because I liked the post). In any case, I loved the idea of the tiny metal models, and ordered myself a Ferris wheel on Amazon. It was really so much tinier than I could have imagined.
Here’s the packaging, before being opened.
Here are the instructions, and the parts.
…and here are the parts after I snipped them all out of their ‘carrier metal’. Those are jewelry makers’ pliers and dykes, by the way – very small.
Awww. Look at the cute little pieces that will become 20 individual unimaginably tiny passenger cars!
I really enjoyed building this little sucker. I want to get more of their little metal models now!
Thanks for stopping by, and leaving your thoughts!
